An ancient form of Japanese folk dancing, Minyo dancing is a fun, energetic, and elegant recreation from the Japanese performing arts. Not to be confused with traditional Japanese dancing, Minyo is perfect for anyone wishing to learn a Japanese art form in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

TAIKO DRUMMING
A musical form to some, a martial art to others. Brought to you by the Nikkei Society of Lethbridge, Taiko drumming is a great past time for those who wish to learn an ever growing in popularity Japanese art. Taiko has been practiced in Japan for centuries, and works the entire body while promoting ambidexterity through constant practice and repetition.
