This is led by the NCS Minyo Dancers
Obon is a Buddhist celebration, a time to remember and honour those who have passed on. It is a time to appreciate all that they have done for us and to recognize their continuing influence on our lives.
Odori means dance. Bon odori is a dance of joy as we remember our dearly departed. Bon odori is for everyone! So come out whenever you can make it and regardless of your experience level or age. No registration required.
Learning activities will occur on some of the practice dates: 6:30-7:00 p.m. (e.g. how to wear yukata)
A full schedule of dances and learning activities will be available at the first session.
Refreshments will be provided each week.
